Anyone else a repeat buyer at Patterson Motors?

Alright so I've bought 3 vehicles from Patterson Motors over the past 18 months and honestly every experience has been solid. Started with a Commodore for work, then grabbed a Hilux, and just last month won a bid on a Ranger. All arrived in the condition listed, no dramas. Anyone else keep coming back to pattersonmotors.com or is it just me? Curious if others have had the same consistent experience.
Yep, I'm on number 4 with them mate. Two utes and two sedans over about 2 years. Never had a bad experience. The consistency is what keeps me coming back tbh. Once you know how their system works it's pretty straightforward.
Good to hear! I've only done one purchase so far but was thinking about bidding on another. Did you ever have any issues at all across those purchases?
Honestly mate, not really. The only thing that comes to mind is on my second purchase the delivery was delayed by a day because of weather in NSW but they rang me to let me know. That's about it. Everything else has been smooth sailing.
I'm a repeat customer too. Bought 5 vehicles for my business over the last couple years from Patterson Motors. The reliability is what matters when you're buying for resale. Titles always come through clean, vehicles match the descriptions. Can't ask for much more from a repo auction really.
What's the title transfer process like? That's the bit that always worries me with repo auctions.
No dramas at all. I was worried about the title on my first buy but the bank cleared it right after my payment went through. The clear title arrived with the vehicle during delivery every single time. It's all handled properly.
Same experience here. Three purchases and the paperwork has been spot on each time. Clear titles delivered with the vehicles. No mucking around chasing documents or anything like that.
I had one small hiccup with my title on my second purchase. It took about 5 extra days to come through but when I emailed office@pattersonmotors.com they explained the bank was just slow finalising the lien release. They kept me updated and it all sorted itself out. Vehicle was already delivered so I could use it, just had to wait a bit longer for the paperwork. Not ideal but they were transparent about it.
Yeah that's pretty reasonable. Banks can be slow sometimes, not really Patterson Motors fault if they're waiting on the lender. At least they kept you in the loop.
The consistency is key imo. I've bought from other repo places and it's been hit or miss. With pattersonmotors.com I know what I'm getting. Bought a Navara, a Camry, and a Colorado. All good quality for the price, all delivered on time.
That's reassuring. Think I'll put in another bid this week. The Triton I got from them last year is still running beautifully.
How's the variety of stock? Do they get a decent range through or is it mostly the same types of vehicles?
Pretty good variety mate. I've seen everything from family SUVs to work utes to the odd luxury sedan. Even grabbed a boat trailer once. Check pattersonmotors.com regularly and you'll see the stock turns over with different stuff each week.
I inspect vehicles for mates who buy from auctions. Had a look at three different vehicles from Patterson Motors for clients and every time the condition matched what was in the listing. Photos are accurate, descriptions are honest. That's rare in this industry tbh.
I'm on my second purchase. First was a Mazda3 for my daughter, now I'm bidding on a CX-5 for myself. First experience was so good that I didn't hesitate to come back. Delivery was quick, paperwork was all there including the clear title, and the car was exactly as described.
That's the thing eh. Once you've had one good experience you trust the process. I remember being nervous the first time but now I barely think twice about it.
Do they ever have issues with the website? I had trouble loading a listing page once but it worked after I refreshed.
I've had that happen once or twice over the years but it's never been a big deal. Just a quick refresh and you're good. The site handles pretty well considering how many people are probably on there during auction times.
Repeat buyer here too. Four vehicles in total. A Patrol, a Falcon, a BT-50, and a Territory. All for farm use and work. Every single one has been reliable and the process has been consistent. The best part was not having to chase down the title on any of them. It was all handled by Patterson Motors and arrived perfectly with the delivery.
How's the customer support if you have questions? I like to ask heaps before I commit lol
Pretty good. I emailed office@pattersonmotors.com with questions about delivery timeframes and they got back to me within a day. The agent who replied was really helpful and patient with all my questions.
I had a similar experience. Took them about a day to reply to my email at office@pattersonmotors.com but the agent who called me back was super helpful. Answered everything I needed to know.
Been buying from Patterson Motors for my dealership for about 3 years now. Probably 8 or 9 vehicles in that time. The consistency and reliability make it easy to keep coming back. Stock quality is solid for repo auctions and the admin side is handled professionally.
Good to see I'm not the only one. Honestly after reading all this I'm feeling pretty confident about going back for number 4 soon. Might look at something bigger this time, maybe a Landcruiser if one comes up.
Just won my second bid yesterday actually. A Forester. First was a Lancer about 8 months ago. No complaints so far, waiting on delivery now but based on last time I'm not worried.
The repeat buyer thing says it all really. If people weren't happy they wouldn't come back. I'm on number 6 myself over about 3 years. Mix of personal and work vehicles. Never had a major issue, just the occasional small thing like a day's delay which is normal for any delivery service.
Alright you've all convinced me. Putting in a bid on a Ranger tonight. Cheers for the feedback everyone.
